IBM Laptops Rock
I just got my first hands on look at a new X40 from IBM.. WOW is about all I can say. Everything you want in a laptop.
sturdy manufacturing. Good feel for keys. Now with a SD Ram Slot. (great for those digital photo's viewed on your laptop... .. Better than the little viewer on your camera.. ... Yea.. We all have done that.. Can I see that..
Put it on your ipaq at least.
Anyway..Back to IBM.
Her I am using my now 3 year old T 30 The thing still works.. I have my daily X30.. But now the X40
What more can I say.. If you need a laptop. Don't mess with HP Gateway, or Dell. Just get the thinkpad. If you cant afford a new x40 get an older x30 or x24.. Also very very good light. Power machines.

The X40 rocks. I bought one at Bob's recommendation and love it !!! Small enough to use on a coach airline seat with room for your drink ! Good feel on the keyboard. I actually prefer it to my bigger Gateway. Light. can you say LIGHT ?
I only wish I needed one. (Still have my x30 running ) so I can justify even to myself buying one .
